What a great place. Excellent location just around the corner from the nightlife on Kastanienalle and close to all the cafes, restaurants in Kolwitz platz and the rest of Prenzlauer Berg. There is even a Bio (organic grocery) down the street. You may find yourself not wanting to leave the neighborhood. But if you feel the urge the U2 (subway) is just a block away. E7 has secure, quiet rooms and clean bathrooms. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and make a good cup of coffee.

Really big rooms and really secure. No lockouts and quiet neighbourhood. 2 steps from the metro station and accessibility to Alex Platz is quite easy. Best hostel Ive stayed in in Europe.

EastSevens is wonderful hostel.It's clean,friendly,less expensive..I really wanna stay there again when I visit Berlin next year!!

The people in EastSeven were extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to answer any questions. The place couldn't have been any cleaner and it's location was brilliant: an easy walk to everything with the U-Bahn two minutes away. All the facilties were there and our room was excellent. If you're going to Berlin then stay here. In terms of what you get for your money I just can't imagine there'd be anywhere better.

Place was very cleen, had a garden area and good kitchen facilites! The staff were extremely helpful and even got me extra maps and instructions for my nesxt hostel, nothing was too much trouble for them.

This is a terrific hostel -- thank you for such an awesome stay! I loved the fact that each person had their own locker with a key so that I didn't have to purchase a lock. The cheap drinks and free Wi-Fi were perfect for my small budget! I felt very safe and comfortable...staff was very helpful in giving directions, etc.

been there twice, and likely to come back. there's no better choice in berlin for sure, and even in other cities i long for a comfortable and nice place like the eastseven.

Only a brief stay here but hostel seemed well suited to backpacking. A big garden out back and communal areas. Beer only 1.50 euro a bottle. Good location with lots of nice bars and places to eat nearby.

A fantastic hostel!!! Clean, friendly, very well located and a really good atmosphere. When I return to Berlin, I will definatly be staying here!

This was the most amazing hostel ever. The staff were so charming, funny and more then helpful - they really made our stay! The kitchen and common room were great and every night you can relax with a few drinks and meet new friends. I highly recommend the free walking tours. I luv Berlin!!!

Our hostel here, EastSeven, is one of the highest ranked hostels in Berlin, and so far its been great! The English speaking staff has been really cool and helpful, the wireless internet works, and theres a full kitchen with refrigerator (which we’ve already gone shopping for and filled up a bit) and a cool garden with a bbq.

We are really looking forward to our trip to Berlin and to our stay at the East Seven in July :-)

We arrived Saturday afternoon in Prenzlauer Berg, where our hostel is. (PS- if you are ever planning on going to Berlin, stay in East Seven. It was a great hostel. Clean, friendly staff, great location, the whole package).

I strongly suggest turning right out of the hostel and eating in the trendy cafe on the first corner (1 min walk away) as their food and coffee is what helped us get up early and start another long and exciting day!

The location is perfect, just a short walk to all the really trendy bars, clubs and shops. As well the U-Bahn is a 2 minute walk away and its central location makes everything within a really short journey away.

I cannot recommend EastSeven highly enough. From the incredibly warm and helpful staff, cheap cold beers at reception and great security. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean and have great views.

Your hostel is amazing! I have stayed in hotels that weren't as nice. The staff was wonderful and the location was great!

excellent hotel, i can see why it is rated as one of the best in the world. its completly clean, and the rooms are great. the staff is super nice, the place is calm and excellent place to make friends. i dont think any hostel will give me more . it is not far from the main areas but it could be closer, but is just 2 metro stops so its pretty close
