pretty nice location, clean, cozy and well-furnished...staffs were fun, friendly and helpful (thx. Josh, Caro, Marco)gotta be my first choice for my next trip to Berlin in 2009...bis nächste Mal! :)

It felt like one big home where you could meet new people and the facilities are top noch.

Very good hostel..few meters from U-Bahn and only 2 stops from Alexanderplatz.. Nice pubs and good restaurants surrounding.. Staff is very helpfull and nice.. The next time I will go there again and will advise my friends..

This hostel is actually really good! But since you should be critical I shall too.The kitchen is extremely small and we couldn't have our rooms until 3 pm, we arrived 8 in the morning after a 9 hour trainride. We were quite grumpy but the nice guy in the lobby let us sleep in the lounge :) so thanks!

me and my mates we did enjoy our stay in berlin very much (it was very short this time), and the east seven hostel just added to our cultural experience. it's located in the cool area, where you can find good underground bars and places (we were after such places as many of our heroes lived/live in this city, eg Nick Cave, Peaches, Cure, usw.). UBahn is really close, which will sort ya out with regards to city transport. I'd recommend this spot to my friends. L

Just a short note that I had a lot of fun in berlin and part of it was because i had a very nice stay at the East Seven. It is clean, staff is really funny and very helpful, beer and coffee is cheap.. I was in an 8 bedroom mixed dorm, and the room was big, light overlooking a quite street and Ive met a bunch of nice people. I would definitely recommend to anyone. It is also in a good location, close to Alexanderplatz and Kulturbrauerei (where the salsa congress was held in September). I understand why it is top rated, it is well worth it!Judit from Budapest

I liked this hostel, it was manned/womanned by friendly and sexy staff. room was very spacious with nice large windows to let in fresh air and let out the funk from smelly travelers (you know who you are!) room had large lockers in them for all your stuff. i wanted to extend my stay but got evicted on the account of the place being booked solid. stay here, you wont be disappointed!

This was an excellent hostel! We very much enjoyed our stay and the hostel was a great place to come back to each night. It is not a party hostel but if you want a place to relax it is perfect. It is the best hostel we have stayed with so far. very clean and super friendly staff. would def recommend :)

This was a great hostel.The staff were helpful and friendly,it had room key as well as lockers,so your stuff was safe.It was only 2 stops on the U-bahn (tube/metro) from one of the main squares (Alexanderplatz),with lots of other rail connections.It was clean and warm.I was so busy I didn't even see the lounge area/kitchen/garden.They offer free walking tours and sell coffee, tea, beer etc, but don't do any food but Lidl supermarket very close.

es ist ein sehr sehr schönes hostel, es ist sauber und dazu sehr gemütlich gestaltet. Das personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit!... im großen und ganzen ein Top Hostel! weiter so leute!! :)

This was an incredibly clean safe hostel. The best I've stayed at so far. We even extended our stay and skipped a city because this hostel was so nice. Everything is very modern and you know it's clean. Will stay again if I'm ever in Berlin!
